After a brief drive to a lakeside location in Belconnon I sat down with Vendra in her office. A welcoming space filled with personal touches and showing her open, personal style.
We started by talking about her business XTend Life Coaching helping connect NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) before moving into the impact her services have on her clients by enabling them to do things many of us take for granted, such as cooking a meal or doing laundry.
Later we moved into speaking about her own personal journey to this work and how her love for her dog, Dash, and photography give her a sense of freedom, that may just get her into trouble on occasion. We also chatted about our experiences when visiting Port Arthur Historical Site on Tasmania.
I really hope you enjoy this chat as much as I did having it.
Thank you to Vendra for taking time to talk with me and sharing a laugh.
Thank you to Nick McCorriston for being my podcast guru and putting the thing together with music and intros.
