Kat Brennan

After years of working in training and development, leadership, and compliance in the public service, I was looking for a meaningful way to contribute to the betterment of people’s lives. Having undertaken my own therapeutic journey and after working in roles where I was providing incidental counselling, I decided to formally study counselling.
I am a qualified mediator and CINERGY® conflict management coach, and have experience facilitating training on suicide awareness, mindfulness, resilience, coaching and motivational interviewing. I have always had an interest in empowering people and helping them to develop the skills and tools they need to be the best version of themselves.
I have a person focused approach and work with my clients based on their needs.
I am currently formalising my Master of Counselling with the University of Canberra and am completing placement with The Secret Keeper Counselling and Psychotherapy.
