Kel is writer, mother and yoga enthusiast that lives on the Central Coast of New South Wales. We sat down in her home and talked about her life-long struggles with ADHD, depression, and anxiety. We also talked about her own experiences have made her better able to cope with and help her two children with their own mental health difficulties.
This episode also contains discussion about domestic abuse and the work done by Jess Hill for her book ‘See What You Made Me Do’.
We also discussed how mental health was dealt with in the past, especially after the World Wars and how that may inform how society still deals with it in many places and between the genders.
Our conversation did have a few lighter moments when we talk about self-care and my own experience with Bikram Yoga.
