Secrets We Share S2E4: Rod

Rod is a private practitioner based in Canberra with a 100% LGBTIQI+ client base. He is a Gestalt therapist with a keen interest in sex therapy and being LGBT is the 21st century. We talk about how is innate curiosity led his to careers in a number of stereotypical industries and how they all led him to being a therapist.

We talk at length about the importance aesthetics play in his life, both at work and in play. We also talk about the impact the Australian Marriage Equality debate had on himself and close friends in the community.

In our one hour conversation we also chat about Tricia Stratford's work with neuro-psychotherapy, and the good work done to support the community by the Aid Action Council, A Gender Agenda and Diversity ACT.

In the bonus material for Patreon patron, Rod tells you about an interesting 'emergency' session.

Thank you to Rod for inviting me into his home and sending me away with this delightful bunch of flowers freshly cut from his garden.

Thank you to Nick McCorriston for being my podcast guru and putting the thing together with music and intros.
