Jane is a spiritual and holistic therapist. She lives on top of a mountain amoungst the trees and wildlife. As I was leaving after our interview, she told me to watch for wombats, because it wasn't uncommon to see 10 or more before reaching the end of her road.
We chatted about her early career in retail and how a health scare in her 30s gave her a new outlook on life and what she wanted from it. Her journey to being a therapist wasn't immediate after her scare, it took her a while to 'come out' as spiritual, but not religious.
Thank you to Jane for inviting me into her home. As a fellow introvert I can appreciate the effort that took.
In the Patreon patron exclusive bonus material, Jane shares her work in the school system and how children under 12 with depression and anxiety with a program designed to rebuild self-identity.
Thank you to Nick McCorriston for being my podcast guru and putting the thing together with music and intros.
