Secrets We Share S1E7: A Julia

I've known Julia for years. I first met her on the Sydney comedy circuit when this century was a pre-teen. I sat down with her in one of Canberra dodgiest hotels to have a chat about her work as the toughest woman in comedy, her recent space cleansing and how much of an unexpected impact that had on her outlook to life. We chatted about the little bookshop called Desire she likes to call home and how caring for elders, including her dad B.O.B, gives her so much meaning to life. Don't tell anyone, but for someone who swears like a trooper, scares grown men and really knows how to handle herself, she reveals just the tiniest amount of her soft marshmallow center.

This episode contains heaps of swearing, references to drug use and sexual assault.

You can hear more of Julia in the Unhinged Uncast Podcast that she does with her good friend and fellow comedian, Mick Meredith (available everywhere you can listen to podcasts).

Thank you to Julia Wilson for having a chat with me and making me laugh.

Thank you to Nick McCorriston for being my podcast guru, for doing the do.
