Carmel is a Gestalt and art therapist based in the leafy suburbs of the Sutherland Shire in NSW. We’d never met before but her easy and welcoming manner made our conversation easy to slip into. So much so the copious amounts of notes she’d made went ignored.
She graciously discussed her own struggles after talking in detail about how Gestalt works and how she uses artistic work to tap into what each individual client needs.
She does work in her own private practice called Sacred Place, with addiction groups at South Pacific Private and Hope and Heal, helping women who experience domestic violence.
